Georgia Health Sciences University Kickball Tournament for Wish Kid

Augusta, Georgia —

The tournament was to support an Augusta child with Sickle Cell disease.  Genysis Mortley of Augusta, placed a wish with the “Kids Wish Network” to meet Singer Beyonce.

8 teams of about 10 students each competed to help raise money to make Genysis Mortley’s wish come true.

Aimee Hartle-SGA(Student Government Association) Volunteer Committee Chairperson-“This is the first time ever I’m hoping it will become an annual thing to help support various organizations.  I’m graduating this year so I’m going to try to pass that down to the next SGA Humanitarian to take charge and hopefully become an annual thing.  The students love it and the kids from the “Kids Wish Network” will get a kick out of it.

If you would like to make a donation, write a check to “Kids Wish Network” to this address:

Kids Wish Network, Donna-Development Office, 4060 Louis Avenue, Holiday, Florida 34691

Make sure to address it to Donna at the Development Office.  Be sure to write “Kickball” in the memo so your donation goes to this cause.
