Although she is just 5-years-old, Sadie has been through a lot of trials. She was born with a congenital condition which required doctors to amputate both of her legs just above her knees. Doctors have been able to fit Sadie with prosthetic legs, and she is currently working hard to learn how to maneuver on her new legs. Because she has a bright outlook and works hard to regain her mobility, Sadie was awarded as Hero of the Month!
