In November of 2009, James started feeling dizzy and had trouble walking straight. James was rarely ever sick and doctors thought it was a sinus attack. After antibiotics didn’t seem to help him get any better, a CAT scan was done and it was discovered that James had a cancerous tumor known as a medulloblastoma. James has undergone two surgeries to remove parts of the tumor and has had to have six weeks of intense radiation.
For his wish, James wanted to experience the thrill of floating without gravity in a Zero G flight! According to James, he felt like he was in space and it thrilled him to the core. He tried tricks and flips, but his favorite part of the flight was when the instructors tossed some water and M&Ms into the weightless atmosphere.
