A Big Thank You to the Warner Robins Police Department in Georgia

My most heartfelt thanks and gratitude goes out to Captain John Clay and Officer Tabitha Pugh of the Warner Robins (GA) Police Department. Captain Clay and Officer Pugh were instrumental in organizing a fundraiser to fulfill a wish for Sarah.

You see, Sarah is a beautiful, bubbly, 6-year-old who has Ewing’s sarcoma and wishes to visit Disney World. When I asked Captain Clay for help from the police department in funding Sarah’s wish, he didn’t even hesitate. He simply said they’d do it somehow; and they did. With the help of Fatz Cafe, they raised almost $3500 which will not only fund Sarah’s wish, but will also help with several other wishes through the Guardian Angel Fund.

In this picture, Sarah is sitting with Lieutenant Lee Vanosdol and Officer Trent Vanlannen.

This picture, to me, stirs such emotion that I can’t begin to describe it. Honestly, I just want to let you all know that this is why I do what I do. What better way to feel happiness than to help a child experience the joy and pleasure a wish can bring?
