Holiday of Hope 2010 was a HUGE success!

I just got off the phone with Madeline and heard the Holiday of Hope party that happened last night at White Memorial Medical Center in L.A. was a magnificent success! She didn’t have time to tell me too much, seeing as how she and the rest of the Kids Wish crew were just about to hop on their flight home, but she gave me enough to know that Monday’s going to be a great day for telling us all about the party! Oh and I can’t wait to see the pictures!

She told me that the party went better than anyone could have ever imagined and that it was probably one of the best Holiday of Hope parties that we have ever thrown. Madeline also said that the stars from Nickelodeon were fantastic with all of the kids. Some of them ran the red carpet, showing the patients and their siblings how to pose and take the best pictures, while some celebrities did other things. (For example, Nathan Kress of “iCarly” decided that he wanted to help out at the Home Depot station, where kids got to make their own wooden crafts.) She said everyone had a blast, especially the kids AND the sponsors and that everything went smoothly. I guess that’s it for now, but come Monday, we’ll have all the awesome details! Make sure to stay tuned!
