After her first year of life, Faith was diagnosed with having Cystic Fibrosis, a lung disease that affects the whole body, often leading to life-threatening lung infections, sinus infections and a lack of growth. For the first three years of her life, Faith was in the hospital almost every other month with complications from her illness. She must endure daily breathing treatments, nightly sessions with a percussion vest and must take five different medications every day. Faith has also suffered through a surgical procedure to correct the damage done to the lining of her esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease. She must also have supplements given to her via G-tube at night.
For her wish, Faith wanted to visit Orlando and that’s just what she did. While she was there, she got to enjoy all sorts of fun at SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom. Some of Faith’s favorite activities were meeting her favorite characters and riding the fun rides!
