Joseph, an outgoing 17-year-old who loves Corvettes, is battling a life-threatening illness called biliary atresia, which is a liver disease that will result in an eventual liver transplant. Joseph also has severe asthma, epilepsy, hypoplastic left lung syndrome and intracranial cysts.
For his wish, Joseph decided that he wanted to go on a Best Buy shopping spree. Joseph was able to purchase a laptop, a docking system for his iPod, video games and accessories, CDs and movies. His wish coordinator also arranged for Joseph to ride in a Corvette on a race track! His mother said it was a once in a lifetime experience that Joseph won’t soon forget!
