Robert is recovering from surgery and has spent the end of his school year and beginning of the summer in a half-body cast due to broken hip. Because of his football-player type build, Robert’s casts make it impossible for him to simply travel throughout the hospital as his wheelchair makes entry through a normal door impossible. The pain, frustrations, and limitations are a lot to bear. Robert, however, always has a great attitude. His smile and jokes light up the hospital. We are privileged to help take care of him and are inspired by the progress he is making. Please join us in congratulating him as the Hero of the Month!
