T’Shayla suffers from two life-threatening illnesses that cause many problems for her. She is battling ulcerative colitis and sclerosing cholongitis. The illnesses cause T’Shayla to have serious pain and she must take various medications as her liver does not function properly. She has to be careful of getting sick, as her immune system is compromised.
T’Shayla loved the excitement at the Florida theme parks. Her favorite park was Universal Studios and she really enjoyed the roller coasters at Busch Gardens. A highlight of the trip was the “Lion King” show and the Pirates Dinner that she and her family attended. T’Shayla said her favorite part of her wish trip was being able to spend time together as a family.
