Dalton is a determined 11-year-old who suffers from two life-threatening conditions. He was diagnosed with a selective antibody immune deficiency and type 1 diabetes. He relies on an insulin pump and takes shots daily to regulate his glucose levels. He previously had a port implanted to receive medicine to ward off infections against his body.
For his one wish, Dalton chose to travel to the beaches of California. While there, he got surf lessons from professional surfers, attend a pro surf competition and also got to go on a dolphin and whale tour. He was most excited about getting to surf and actually standing up on the board! Way to go, Dalton!

What a beautiful grandson!! This boy has been though so much in his 11 years of life. But…. if anyone can keep you in stitches it is this child.
