Just last year, six-year-old Virginia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which is a cancer of the white blood cells. When Virginia began her chemotherapy treatments, she experienced an allergic reaction which made the treatment even more intense for the little girl; instead of having to endure treatments only once a week, Virginia had to have them three times a week. She has also had a port surgically inserted in her chest to receive her chemotherapy treatments and she is on a strict daily medication regimen.
For her wish, she wanted to enjoy some fun-filled playtime at KeyLime Cove, an awesome indoor waterpark. For Virginia, her favorite activities were swimming, sliding down the waterslides at KeyLime Cove and taking a special kitchen tour during a meal at Chili’s Bar & Grill one evening. She also got to visit Six Flags theme park with her family and had a blast riding roller coasters all day long! What a wish!
