Marcy – Hero of the Month

Marcy was admitted to the hospital for fever of unknown origin resulting in bacteremia. She has been hospitalized for several weeks receiving antibiotics through an IV.

Kelly is a four year old girl who was admitted for respiratory failure and, after a number of long, frustrating days of being on continuous medication, her status wasn’t improving.

Sasha has been to the hospital for several admissions related to her Severe Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease. Recently she was able to leave and continue her journey at home.

Jackie – Hero of the Month

Jackie and her brother were the victims of a crime. They both worked through therapy and did a superb job. After two years with their legal case being in limbo, Jackie recently testified at a jury trial and did a terrific job. Both of them are Heroes!

Chris – Hero of the Month

Chris just turned 12 last month. Only 10 months ago he was in a car accident and was hit by a drunk driver. He received a broken leg and lacerations on his face and arm. He had to undergo several weeks of therapy. Despite all of this he has remained strong and had to endure a lot. He is our Hero!

Ricky had been in abdominal pain for several days when he visited the ER. He and his family had no ides that his appendix had become so inflamed with infection that it had perforated, causing infection to spread throughout his abdomen.

Vivian – Hero of the Month

Vivian is a 10 year old girl who has been in and out of the hospital several times. She was originally diagnosed with optic neuritis and admitted to the hospital because of onset blindness.
