Marcy was admitted to the hospital for fever of unknown origin resulting in bacteremia. She has been hospitalized for several weeks receiving antibiotics through an IV. At home she will continue to receive antibiotics for 2 more weeks through a catheter. She has shown many qualities of a Hero, for she has had several IV insertions and has shown great courage through the procedures. At the end she always greets you with a great big smile!
