Alston has been hospitalized since January 25th after being injured in a motor vehicle accident. As a result of the accident, Alston suffered injuries to his spinal cord and cervical vertebrae, leaving him unable to feel or move his legs.

Aaron is the sole male figure in his household. Combined with the everyday demands of high school, his mother is very sick, and he is in constant pain. He is constantly juggling his many responsibilities while trying to provide a better life for his family which includes his younger sister and mother.
