Josh’s life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor known as pineocytoma. This brave teen immediately underwent surgery to have the tumor removed and also had a shunt inserted to drain fluid away from his brain that had accumulated as a result of hydrocephalus. Unfortunately, Josh has since had another serious bout with hydrocephalus and has had to have additional shunt surgeries.
Before he got sick, Josh had saved to buy his own car – a ’93 Grand Am – and had planned on restoring it. However, his plans were quickly put on hold during his rigorous treatment schedule. Now that he’s feeling a little better, Josh can’t believe how awesome his car makeover wish turned out!
