Kady is an outgoing teen who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This is a cancer of the white blood cells and has caused Kady to require constant medical attention. A port was installed for her treatments that later became infected and had to be replaced, leaving a large scar. The rough chemotherapy treatments caused Kady to lose her gorgeous hair.
For her one wish, Kady decided she wanted to go on a shopping spree to get all the new clothes she could handle. She said she enjoyed being able to go into the stores at the mall and get anything she wanted. Kady said it was “a new experience” for her!
