We, the PICU RN’s would like to nominate Heather “Pualana” Gottlieb for hero of the month. She is three years old and has 4 siblings with one more on the way. Heather has been here for two months. Her history includes having a really bad pneumonia and went into septic shock as a result. She has undergone numerous surgeries and received a tracheostomy. She is currently on the road to getting better and her smiling race has been infectious and has touched the hearts of the staff. She does not have a lire threatening illness and has not had a previous wish granted by another organization.
