Before he was born, young Wesley was diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome. This is a rare congenital disease whose symptoms vary greatly between individuals but commonly include a history of recurrent infection and heart defects; in Wesley’s case, he suffers from Pulmonary Dysplasia. In his first three years, Wesley had already endured three major surgeries and must undergo a heart surgery every 5 to 7 years. For his condition currently, Wesley is on a strict medication regimen and must be monitored carefully.
Wesley wished to visit all of the theme parks in Orlando and that wish just came true. Away from the stresses of everyday life at home, Wesley and his family visited every theme park they wanted to; they rode rides, watched shows and had a real blast just being together. It was the perfect wish-come-true.
