Savannah, a 9-year-old little girl, suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. This illness results in the clogging of the lungs and the pancreas, causing breathing problems and the inability of the pancreas to produce vital enzymes for digestion. Savannah was diagnosed at just 6 months of age, and must use a breathing vest and take many medications on a daily basis.
Recently, Savannah’s wish to visit the various theme parks in Florida was granted. Her mom said that Savannah and the whole family had such a great time. Everyone really enjoyed the special time they had at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Savannah also loved going out to dinner at Wolfgang Puck Café and the Pirates Dinner Theatre. Her mom said that Savannah felt like a celebrity with all the special treatment she received!
