Micah was admitted to the hospital for a routine adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy. Within one week after the surgery, he developed a severe fever, anorexia, dehydration and pneumonia. Micah was a brave boy and endured many tests, needle sticks and overall prodding, all while not feeling well from his original surgery. Through it all he remained positive and tried to smile. That’s why he is our Hero of the Month!
