Drew suffers from Rhabdomyosarcoma, a fast-growing, highly malignant cancerous tumor that lodges deep within the body’s soft tissues. Rhabdomyosarcoma often causes a noticeable lump on a child’s body and creates a multitude of symptoms depending on where the tumor is located. For Drew, he has dealt with the pain of recent chemotherapy treatments to minimize the cancer. He has endured multiple sessions and is now beginning to use a wheelchair because of the weakness he is experiencing because of the chemotherapy.
Drew simply loves his new drum set and plays on it every day, pounding out the beat along with his favorite 80s rock artists. Drew is truly a rockstar with his new drums and he’s more than proud to show it! Keep on rockin’ Drew!
