MacKenzie is an adorable 3-year-old little girl who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor called an Astrocytoma. The tumor is located near her spinal cord and brain stem, and affects MacKenzie’s ability to know whether or not she is hungry. Doctors removed about 85 percent of the tumor and were able to implant a g-tube so MacKenzie can receive regular meals. She still receives MRIs to ensure no new growth has occurred.
MacKenzie had a wonderful time on her wish at the Florida theme parks. Her mom said she was so excited when she got to meet Cinderella, and she loved seeing the princess in her pretty dress. Her mother said it was an amazing time and she loved getting to see her daughter’s one wish come true.
