Little Hailey has a very rare neurodevelopmental disorder known as Rett Syndrome. This condition is characterized by the gradual loss of the purposeful use of the hands and speech, slowed brain growth and seizures. Hailey is unable to walk and is confined most of the time to a wheelchair. Since her diagnosis, she has lost most of her speech but can communicate with a communication device. She also suffers from seizures and frequent joint and muscle pain.
This amazing little girl’s trip to Disney World was one that she will never, ever forget. During her time in Florida, Hailey got to meet all of her favorite characters in person and she even had dinner with the Disney princesses – wow, what a trip!
