Gabriel was born with an array of very serious medical problems. In addition to chronic lung failure, Gabriel struggles daily with complications from congenital heart disease. He has had three heart surgeries so far with likely more in the future. Gabriel also has hydrocephalus or “water on the brain” and has undergone surgery to insert a VP shunt to drain the fluid. This brave little guy also suffers from kidney abnormalities and esophageal atresia.
One of this extraordinary youngster’s favorite things to do is to play on the computer. A bright little boy, Gabriel especially loves learning games and he’s having a blast playing them on his very own, brand new computer!
