Dasha is a sweet teenager who suffers from Systemic Lupus Erythematosis. This is an illness that is similar to the pain of arthritis, and it causes severe swelling in her joints. It is oftentimes very difficult for Dasha to walk due to the swelling, as it sometimes affects her entire body. She had a bone marrow transplant last January and she also has to stay out of the sun or covered while outside.
Dasha’s mom said that her daughters wish to go to Florida theme parks was a “once in a lifetime experience.” They had an amazing time at the Magic Kingdom, Sea World and Busch Gardens. Dasha enjoyed watching the parades and seeing Cinderella!
