Name: Blayze
Age: 3
State: GA

Three-year-old Blayze is as bright as his name. He’s got the widest smile and loves to make new friends. This little firecracker has the amazing ability to talk to anyone and get them to respond to him. Blayze loves collecting action figures and simply adores the Power Rangers.
In June of 2005, Blayze was diagnosed with type two spinal muscular atrophy. This is a genetic disorder in which the spinal neurons in the DNA are defective. People with this disorder generally have extremely weak or non-functioning muscle tissues. Little Blayze can barely use his weak muscles. He is confined to a wheelchair, cannot sit up on his own and can hardly raise his hands. Blayze also has a protein deficiency.
Blayze enjoyed greeting every one of his favorite Disney characters in person as he made his way around the theme parks. He had the best time and he now has plenty of memories and autographs to remind him of his awesome wish!
