As an infant, Baylor was diagnosed with Fanconi’s anemia. This is a genetic disease that ceases the production of bone marrow and is characterized by bone anomalies, leukemias, solid tumors and short stature. Baylor was born without thumbs and has had to endure plastic surgery. Every two to three months Baylor must go in to have his blood checked and every year he must have his bone marrow checked. This year, Baylor has also had to endure yet another surgery, this time to lengthen his bones.

Baylor really loved meeting all of his favorite characters at the Disney parks and having them sign his cast. He also enjoyed riding the E.T. ride at Universal Studios! He had a wonderful time!
