12-year-old Domonique of Waldorf is an incredibly brave little girl who was born with spina bifida, a neural tube defect that occurs when the spinal column fails to close completely. Domonique is unable to move anything below her waist and is wheelchair dependent. She has endured countless surgeries including one to close her spine and another to insert rods into her back.
This precocious and cheerful girl has a huge crush on pop singer, songwriter and actor, Chris Brown. Domonique’s dream to meet her idol came true in Atlanta, GA where she traveled to see Chris in concert. Meeting the star face to face was a day Domonique will definitely never, ever forget!
