Just before Aidan’s third birthday, doctors told his family that he had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a cancer of the blood. He has gone through a lot since his diagnosis, such as blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, blood marrow testing and two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy treatments. All the chemotherapy has taken a toll on Aidan’s immune system and he has to miss a lot of school due to illness. He also suffers from asthma and multiple allergies.

Aidan had a wonderful time in Orlando. While there, he met up with some of his all-time favorite characters and even got their autographs! Of all the things he got to do at Disney World, he enjoyed the “Toy Story Mania!” ride most of all.
