Tiffany receives a wish that keeps on giving

Tiffany, a teenager born with spina bifida, had no idea that her recently fulfilled wish with Kids Wish Network was a gift that would keep giving… and giving… and giving. For her initial special wish, Tiffany and her parents attended Fan Fair in Nashville, Tennessee as VIPs, seeing some of country’s top musical performers including Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Bryan White, Lonestar, Lorrie Morgan, Joe Diffy and Alabama.

The week-long trip was more than she could have imagined. Tiffany was invited to a special picnic with Lonestar, a fan club party for Bryan White and a meet and greet session with all her favorite stars. And if that wasn’t enough, she also received tickets to the Grand Ole Opry, the TNN Music Awards and a dinner show aboard the General Jackson Riverboat.

Tiffany is confined to a wheelchair, but enjoys the same things as other teens her age. She adores the film “Titanic” and enjoys watching football and wrestling, especially her favorite WWF wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. But, above all, Tiffany’s true love is country music, so it is no surprise she chose Fan Fair as her wish.

“This trip has been soooo cool,” Tiffany told Wish Coordinator Madeline Robinson after her wish was fulfilled. While she was so enthralled with of all the singers, she had no idea of the impact she had on them, too. Soon after her wish, an unexpected phone call came.

Doug, of RPM Management Company contacted Kids Wish Network with news that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill would be performing in concert August 20, at the United Center in Chicago near Tiffany’s hometown. Because they remembered that she was such a big fan, Tiffany received a special invitation to the concert along with a very personalized meet and greet session with Tim backstage.

“Her parents kept the extended wish a secret from Tiffany until the time of the big surprise,” said Madeline. “Although there was a long line of fans to meet Tim, he was especially warm and compassionate with Tiffany, making her feel like the star. You could tell by the look on her face that she was in complete awe.”

It was an experience Tiffany and her family will never forget. Wishes do come true, sometimes even twice.
