Since he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor four years ago, 17-year old Abe’s life has been filled with chemotherapy, hospital rooms, visits to doctors, and stinging needles. Despite his illness, Abe really is pretty much like any other boy his age. He like singing groups DMX and Big Pun, enjoys the TV shows Home Improvement and Boy Meets World, and without a doubt, his favorite movie star is Will Smith. During football season, you will find Abe cheering for his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite player, Emmitt Smith.
When Abe was asked, he told Kids Wish Network that he wished for a car stereo. Abe obviously knows his stereos and was very specific as to what brand and what components he would like. As usual, Kids Wish Network quickly went to work and with the help of Mike Sajecki from MAG Sales, a new stereo generously sponsored by the Rockford Corporation in Tempe, AZ was soon on its way to Divine Sounds in Tampa for Abe. Abe is no stranger to Kriek Mouridan at Divine Sounds, who surprised the young man at his home and installed the state-of-the art stereo. Thanks to everyone involved, Kids Wish Network helped another wish for a special child come true.
